Puku Puku is the Quechua name given to the small birds who wakes up Andean farmers and shepherds every day at sunrise with its singing, making sure they don’t miss out on the wonderful rising of the sun. This coffee shop hopes its coffee is like a Puku Puku, helping everyone to wake up, enjoy and care for the marvelous world we live in.

History: A few years ago Jaime and a friend were brought together by their shared passion for coffee. Together, they searched for the perfect cup, one that had a special and unique flavor. As a result of this search, Puku Puku was born as a coffee shop that only uses Peruvian micro-lot coffee – coffee that is carefully and committedly harvested in small badges, each producing 10 quintals of coffee and under. Puku Puku’s team continues to travel the Peruvian valleys in search for new products and specialty coffee, as they keep discovering extraordinary coffee and establishing long lasting relationships with the countryside. The secret is to put forth all the dedication and affection possible. “Coffee comes from nature and deserves the best treatment from us.”

Chef’s Recommendation: Flatwhite, Chocodark and Cappuccino.

Hours: Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
